While the Y4 pupils have had a European-based topic, Y5 pupils have taken a worldwide venture to the South American continent for their term’s learning. Work based around the novel, ‘The Journey to the River Sea’ has complemented their learning about habitats and ecosystems in the Amazon Rainforest. Once again, parents have seized the chance to be involved in their child’s learning through a creative morning where they have worked with their children to learn and consolidate art skills linked to collage/ modroc and painting - I look forward to viewing the finished pieces on display
