IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING RETURN ON 1ST JUNE:

Please accept our sincere apologies for the extremely short notice but following the announcement of Sheffield City Council, based on local public health information, we are no longer able to welcome Y6 children back into the academy on Monday June 1st.

Further information will be provided next week.

Current arrangements for vulnerable pupils and the children of frontline workers remain in place.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Lowedges Junior Academy and ACET understands and greatly appreciates the crucially important work being undertaken by our frontline services, such as the NHS, ambulance, police and fire services, especially during the current Coronavirus pandemic. We recognise the importance of ensuring onsite education for the children of personnel from these services, should staff shortages in the academy enforce partial closures. Therefore, we invite parents/carers who work in frontline services to identify themselves to us by contacting Lindsay Jones at lindsay.jones@lowedgesacademy.org. Thank you.

Following government advice, ALL planned trips and visits scheduled to take place over the next 12 weeks have been cancelled. We are in contact with the travel companies and our insurers and hope to be able to recover costs but cannot guarantee this at this stage. We will confirm details as soon as possible.
