Following changes in government guidance and in consultation with staff, we will not be offering breakfast club or after school clubs at the start of the new academic year  in order to allow time for the new arrangements enforced by COVID-19 to become embedded. We intend to  review this position in the week beginning 21st September which if positive in outcome, will enable us to offer the additional provision as is our usual practice, from the week commencing September 28th.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Lowedges Junior Academy and ACET understands and greatly appreciates the crucially important work being undertaken by our frontline services, such as the NHS, ambulance, police and fire services, especially during the current Coronavirus pandemic. We recognise the importance of ensuring onsite education for the children of personnel from these services, should staff shortages in the academy enforce partial closures. Therefore, we invite parents/carers who work in frontline services to identify themselves to us by contacting Lindsay Jones at lindsay.jones@lowedgesacademy.org. Thank you.

Following government advice, ALL planned trips and visits scheduled to take place over the next 12 weeks have been cancelled. We are in contact with the travel companies and our insurers and hope to be able to recover costs but cannot guarantee this at this stage. We will confirm details as soon as possible.

Here is a list of websites that your child can access from home to continue their learning should they be self-isolating or in the event the academy is closed.
